Start Getting Your Affairs in Order

“The guide helped me think about things that I had not considered before. I learned that estate planning is not that complicated after all.

Meet Paula

Ready to get your affairs in order so you can more calmly and confidently handle the inevitable challenges that arise in sudden medical emergencies and end-of-life situations? Then it’s time you met Paula Vincent Johnson, a Louisiana civil law notary in private practice since 2004.

We’re all generally familiar with going to a notary when we need a document “notarized” to buy or sell a car, file an insurance claim, or draw our retirement.  But Paula does much more than watch you sign documents.

What makes Paula unique is that her practice focuses primarily on basic estate planning with:

  • powers of attorney,
  • last wills and testaments,
  • small estate successions, and
  • transfers of inherited property.

By preparing customized legal documents, Paula helps her clients feel optimistic about the future, maintain control of their assets so they can build generational wealth, and effectively communicate with financial institutions, medical professionals, governmental agencies, and others during life’s most difficult times.

When she is not helping her clients gain peace of mind, Paula enjoys grilling in the back yard while listening to smooth jazz music.  She is an avid reader (nowadays audio book listener), and loves to binge watch legal dramas (television and movies).

I liked the guide. It had information that I didn't know. The worksheet prompted me and my spouse to consider exactly how we want our assets distributed after we die. I found the checklist comprehensive, which was especially helpful.
